Reggae on the Green LLC, the organizer for the Reggae on the Green festival event would like to invite all interested and quality vendors to our event.  If you would like to be a vending partner, please read through the FAQs and other information below, then click on VENDOR APPLICATION button to apply. Please contact us if you have any questions.  Our contact form is at the bottom of this page.

How do we begin the vendor application process?

Begin by clicking the Vendor Application at the bottom of this page. Be sure to include as much specific information regarding your business, the items you would like to sell and details about your event site set up as possible.

How many vendors will be accepted?

We try to have a variety of businesses for our festival attendees.  It difficult to say how many but we expect more than 30, representing many different categories.  Be unique with your presentation in order to give festival attendees a special experience.

Will there be a contract?

A contract will be sent to you upon acceptance.  It will be sent to the email you provide.  It will require a digital signature from the representative of your company.  

Do I need insurance?

All businesses wishing to participate with Reggae on the Green LLC must be able to provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance with the appropriate additional insureds and monetary limits. Insurance requirements are listed below.

What permits do I need?

Your business must be in good standing with the Virginia Beach Commissioner of Revenue (Phone 757-385-4515). Food vendors must be in good standing with the Virginia Environmental Health Department (Phone 757-518-2646 or 757–518 –2700).  The Fire Marshal may be contacted at (Phone 757-385-4228) regarding any questions pertaining to the Fire Safety Requirements that you may have. Participation in Reggae on the Green is contingent upon meeting the requirements of these three City of Virginia Beach departments.

How much does it cost?

There are various options for food and retail vendors based on size, and proximity to the main stage.  See options below

When is the payment due?

Once you apply a 50% deposit is due, the balance is due 30 days before the event.

Where do I park?

Parking arrangements for personal vehicles, box trucks and trailers are the sole responsibility of the individual vendor. There will be free parking around the venue, but any special requests should be made at least 2 weeks prior to the event.

Any vending partner with Reggae on the Green, LLC must carry commercial general liability insurance with the following coverage:

Vendors participating in events produced by Reggae on the Green, LLC must name Reggae on the Green, LLC  and City of Virginia Beach as an additional insured on their certificate of insurance in the following manner:
“Reggae on the Green, LLC, City of Virginia Beach and their respective partners, subsidiaries, and affiliates are additional insured’s with respect to the named insured’s operations/activities. Waiver of subrogation applies in favor of the additional insured’s with respect to workers compensation.”
